Head East, London Design Festival 2013

The official East London late night for London Design Festival 2013 is Tuesday 17 September, but if you want to get a head start on your LDF13 outings, head east. There’s plenty on just a bit off the beaten path in Shoreditch, London Fields and Hackney, doing what east does best: featuring the more independent, less commercial side of design. Some highlights:

Mini Moderns Remix at East London Design Store (London Fields), 12-22 Sept

This sounds really fun: The East London Design Store in London Fields invited the brilliant design duo of Mini Moderns to curate a special two-week event, featuring a selection of designers and artists who have “remixed” Mini Moderns’ past collections and in particular their ‘Darjeeling’ wallpaper into designs of their own.
